Ray is an LA-based entrepreneur with deep experience in launching and scaling early-stage ventures with a focus on strategic marketing, finance, and business development. His industry focus is largely in technology, media & entertainment & technology having serving on a number of executive teams in corporate development, finance and strategy roles. His career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers working on client assurance in high technology and media. He later joined Ernst & Young where he worked in the technology, entertainment and media practice. His major clients were TimeWarner, Infocrossings and Fujiphoto Film’s US Medical Devices business.
Prior to Trizone he served as CFO to early and mid-stage ventures, and has raised an aggregate of $235 million in M&A and venture financing. Most recently his professional track record includes serving as lead to financings at TrueCar, theAudience, and most recently Derek Jeter’s The Players’ Tribune. His primary focus for early-stage ventures was in financing, structure and scaling the organizations from SEED-stage through pre-IPO.
As co-founder of Trizone, Ray is tasked with driving the strategic vision of the company as well as overseeing overall maturity of the underlying business. Under his leadership he has grown Trizone from idea to product-market fit while attracting corporate and strategic partners to help grow the distribution footprint for its consumer products and technologies.
