Len Lanzi
Managing Director
Leader in Non-Profit and Startup Ecosystems | Visionary Strategist | Community Advocate
Leonard M. Lanzi boasts over 30 years of impactful leadership in non-profit management and fund development.He is a recognized figure in the Los Angeles region, having served as the Executive Director of the Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA) from 2007 to 2020.During his tenure, Len spearheaded strategic initiatives and educational programs to foster a thriving venture-funded startup ecosystem.
His diverse career path demonstrates a commitment to serving communities across various needs. From providing essential services at the Community Kitchen of Santa Barbara to advocating for children through Court Appointed Special Advocates, Len brings a wealth of experiences to the table. His dedication to youth development extends to executive roles with Junior Achievement of Southern California and the Boy Scouts of America.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Leonard holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Rochester and a professional certification in Private Capital Markets from Pepperdine University.He actively engages in community building through the Rotary Club of Santa Monica, where he recently served as VP Programs and will continue as a director next year.
Beyond his current role as Managing Director of the Preccelerator Program, Len’s leadership extends to various organizations. He currently chairs the Board of Meals on Wheels West, champions LGBTQ+ entrepreneurship as a Board Governor for StartOut, and contributes his expertise to the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce.
Kelly Siobhan Laffey
Senior Vice President, Director of Business Affairs, Preccelerator
Kelly Siobhan Laffey is a Partner of the firm and the Director of Business Affairs at the Preccelerator. Kelly’s practice focuses on advising emerging growth and middle market companies in the technology, digital, internet, interactive media (i.e., AR and VR), and entertainment industries. Kelly counsels clients on issues related to corporate governance and formation, venture capital and other financings, joint ventures, employee compensation, complex stockholder and operating agreements, securities law regulation and other general corporate matters.
